Cision Named One of the Best Solutions for Both Business Information and Integrated Content
CHICAGO, December 9, 2011 – Cision, the leading provider of PR software, services and tools for the marketing and public relations industry, today announced that the CisionPoint campaign management platform has been selected one of 2012’s best sources of online business information, as well as one of the premier solutions that integrate information into users’ workflow, by the software industry’s only peer-to-peer annual awards competition.
Cision was named a 2012 CODiE Award finalist in two categories – as Best Online Business Information Resource and Best Solution Integrating Content into Workflow – by judges appointed by the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA), sponsors of the competition.
Winner of the 2011 CODiE Award for Best Marketing and PR Solution, Cision’s integrated campaign management software has been adopted by over 30,000 users in more than 20 countries since its launch in October 2007. It is now available in nine languages and is used by corporations, nonprofits, universities and solo practitioners, as well as 49 of the top 50 largest PR agencies.
“These nominations from the CODiE Award judges are extremely gratifying,” said Peter Granat, President and Chief Operating Officer of Cision North America. “They confirm that Cision’s media and influencer database, social media monitoring, and social publish tools remain among the best in class as social media transforms the communications landscape.”
“What’s more, in citing Cision’s ability to integrate content into workflow, the judges recognize that the information we deliver through our software addresses our customers’ day-to-day challenges. Understanding the dynamics of how PR and marketing professionals work is fundamental to our strategy,” he said.
The Best Online Information Resource category recognizes the best service that provides comprehensive company, business and/or industry information, news and data. Best Solution Integrating Content into Workflow was judged based on criteria that includes business impact, innovation/market breakthrough, relevance to its target customers, usability, and value-add. Winners in the 2012 CODiE Awards’ “digital content” categories will be announced next month.
