Cision account executive Jordan Adams used the Cision Social Media Dashboard to fuel his insight on the rise and fall of viral video The Harlem Shake. Earlier this week, he used that knowledge to write a blog post titled Lifecycle of a Viral Video: The Harlem Shake Down.

Today, the BBC reported on the dance craze using Cision’s data and thoughts from our in-house expert, Adams. In the article, titled Harlem Shake: Tracking a meme over a month, they analyzed the craze and spoke with Adams, YouTube trends manager Kevin Allocca, and co-founder of Unruly Media Sarah Wood.

Are you still shakin’ or are you glad it’s on its way out?
