Who is Asim?
Originally from India, I first stopped at the University of Arkansas in 2009 to get a Masters in Information Systems. Then I discovered Ruby and the Bay Area and haven’t gone back ever since. My tryst with tech started in my early teens when I had to hack around to setup a CounterStrike stats server. I firmly believe this is my calling and can’t picture myself doing anything else.

I will be playing a “Generalist” role leveraging my backend experience, focussing on quality, optimal solutions and efficient code as I work through the stack to contribute to Viralheat’s exciting product roadmap.

- Have forgotten how to pronounce my name after having it butchered in countless ways
- World’s unluckiest international traveller – My baggage is always lost. Lately, I have stopped going to baggage claim and instead go straight to file a lost complaint.
- Believes that the GPS is Man’s greatest creation
