Today, we’ve made our sentiment API available for free to users signed up with a developer account. This is our most advanced sentiment API allowing you to analyze all kinds of Web data including social media data and Web page content.
With up to 5,000 calls per day, you can leverage this API to integrate sentiment analysis into your own applications and, unlike other sentiment analysis vendors charging up to tens of thousands of dollars for this technology alone, you pay nothing! This is the same analysis engine used in the existing Viralheat product’s sentiment analysis and human intent features that has been getting trained by actual users for more than 2 years.
We’re also very excited to announce some awesome launch partners in Klout, Seesmic and Zuberance. They each have very exciting plans ahead using the sentiment API so stay tuned to hear all about those…
With the release of the sentiment API we’ve also redone our Developer Center, where you can find information on all the APIs that we have available. This includes the following:
- Account APIs (paid) – With Viralheat’s pipeline APIs you can embed advanced social media intelligence right into your applications.
