Twelve years ago I stumbled upon a genius formula for growing a remarkable, industry-dominating business. I found it in the unlikeliest of places: a pumpkin patch. I was working 25 hours a day to keep my moderately successful business going when I read an article about how farmers grow those gigantic, prize-winning pumpkins you see on the news every fall. I realized the same process could be used by entrepreneurs to grow wildly successful businesses. It was all right there in black and white… and orange.
