Corporate Communication Leaders Gather in New York for Annual Research & Measurement Conference

Experts from Pfizer, Deloitte and Cision Headline Sixth Annual Forum

CHICAGO, IL, 11 October, 2007 – The 2007 Research and Measurement Conference, “Practical Approaches to Generating and Demonstrating Communication ROI,” presented by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and Cision, will be held 14-16 November in New York City. The program is designed for senior-level public relations, marketing and communication professionals.

“Communication professionals are constantly under pressure to demonstrate the ROI of their efforts to clients and management. Traditional measures of positive media coverage are essential, but no longer sufficient,” says Julie Freeman, ABC, APR, president of IABC. “This conference offers attendees insights and practical techniques to help them link PR outputs to business outcomes in their organizations.”

“Jointly with IABC, Cision is pleased to bring together again industry thought-leaders and senior practitioners in this unique forum, which will explore how to demonstrate the value of public relations and communications through measurement,” stated Steve Newman, Cision CEO, North America.

The sixth annual conference provides communication managers and executives with best practices and practical measurement principles to position their programs strategically and demonstrate value to the organization’s bottom line.
