Education Week is has welcomed two new correspondents as part of their video department. Lisa Stark has joined the staff as a broadcast corespondent. She was most recently a correspondent for the now-defunct Al Jazeera America, and is best known for her two-decade, award-winning run as an ABC News correspondent that ended in 2013. Kavitha Cardoza will come aboard Aug. 1 as a broadcast correspondent after wrapping up a run as education reporter for WAMU-FM (Washington, D.C.). Cardoza has been with WAMU since 2008. Cardoza and Stark will both contribute to EdWeek’s partnership with PBS NewsHour. Follow Education Week’s video team on Twitter for the latest national education stories.
