The National Review has promoted Charles C. W. Cooke to online editor of its digital vertical. Cooke previously served as a writer for the magazine since 2011 when he joined the staff as an intern. He is taking over the role from Rich Lowry, who has been serving as editor for both the print and online versions of NR; Lowry remains editor of the print magazine.
