Lois Romano has revealed she will return to writing duties at The Washington Post. The WaPo veteran most recently served as editor for Washington Post Live, the paper’s events series. Romano originally joined the staff in 1984, and reported for the paper until 2011, when she left for The Daily Beast and Newsweek. She has also been a reporter for Politico, and also oversaw its events programming. Romano starts her new role July 1, with vice president of communications Kristine Coratti taking over editorial duties for Washington Post Live, in addition to her existing oversight of business and operations for the events.
