Rhonda Overbey has been named the publisher of The Sedalia Democrat. Overbey replaces Denny Koenders who is now the publisher of a sister newspaper, the Durant Daily Democrat. Overbey previously served as the advertising manager for the Muskogee Phoenix. She has been part of the newspaper industry since 1991 beginning as advertising manager for Log Cabin Democrat.
