Q: Do you use social media for your job and how do you use it?

“Twitter, I’ve used before. I’m still trying to figure out how I want to use Facebook. Mainly Twitter is my professional thing,” says Sam Quinones. “I usually put out stuff I’m interested in. I oftentimes send out stories that I think are interesting, and they have to do mainly with Mexico, or the border. On occasion, when I’m looking for stories, I’ll send out a tweet to ask people if they know anybody who knows anything about topic X – whatever it happens to be.”
