Staff changes at Vanity Fair include the departure of Heather Shimokawa and arrival of Eric Leffler. Shimokawa had been the magazine’s senior market editor since July 2011, but has left to join Bally as its US vice president of PR and communications. She had previously served as the public relations director for Brioni USA for two years prior to joining Vanity Fair, and had been an editor at Best Life, Men’s Journal, and US Weekly. Leffler has been named the executive producer of video for the magazine’s website and comes to the outlet from MSNBC, where he had been a producer for 5 years.
