Associated Press has named Steve McMillan Mid-Atlantic news editor overseeing news for Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and District of Columbia. He’ll remain based out of the Richmond bureau. Previously, Steve McMillan served as news editor for Virginia and West Virginia at the news service. West Virginia coverage will now fall under a new Appalachia region with Kentucky and Tennessee overseen by news editor Scott Stroud. Follow Associated Press on Twitter for more news updates.
