Baseball analyst Curt Schilling was fired from ESPN this week amid social media controversy. He shared a Facebook post that seemed to support North Carolina’s HB2 law limiting transgender bathroom rights and also added commentary that appeared to be prejudice against the transgender community. Schilling joined ESPN in 2010, and is also well known as a six-time All-Star pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles, the Houston Astros, the Philadelphia Phillies, the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Boston Red Sox over a 20-year career in professional baseball.
