The Times Leader will welcome Tim Farkas to the newsroom as executive editor April 20, replacing George Spohr. Farkas comes to the Times Leader from the Watertown Daily Times, where he served as editor and vice president of news operations since 2013. Prior to this, he was executive editor of The Berkshire Eagle since 2004. Before that, he worked in sports journalism, serving as executive sports editor for the Albany Times-Union.
