The Los Angeles Times has hired former HuffPo senior reporter Jaweed Kaleem to cover the newly created race and justice beat. Kaleem covered religion for The Huffington Post for five years before exiting this past January. He has contributed this year to The Atlantic, Quartz, Jewish Journal, and the National Catholic Reporter.
