Leah Finnegan has been named managing news editor at Genius.com, starting on March 7. She will oversee News Genius, a section of the site which annotates news articles and websites. Finnegan comes from Cosmopolitan, where she had served as interim executive editor of its online edition since October 2015. Prior to that, she served as features editor at Gawker.
