Dan Beucke has joined the Los Angeles Times as deputy business editor. He was most recently an assistant managing editor for news at The Orange County Register, where he also started his journalism career as a reporter, and later served as business editor there. Over his career, Beucke spent nearly two decades with Bloomberg Businessweek, serving as as senior editor and news director, also overseeing business coverage at Newsday and the San Jose Mercury News.
