Yahoo Games is shutting down operations after nearly 18 years. The game hub originally started in 1998, after Yahoo acquired the site Games Domain, and housed simple parlor games until 2014 when it had shut down for technological reasons. It’s popularity declined as simple games moved to mobile and as Yahoo’s popularity declined in favor of Google.
