Melissa McCart has announced her forthcoming departure from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette at the end of February. She has served as the paper’s dining critic since joining the paper in 2012, following a stint as food critic for the Broward Palm Beach New Times. McCart will be heading to Newsday in March to serve as food critic.
Also, Robert Zullo has left the Post-Gazette, where he most recently covered city hall. He joined the staff as a general assignment reporter in late 2013. He has returned to the Richmond Times-Dispatch as an enterprise reporter, where he also covered city hall from 2012 to 2013.
