KVEA-TV, the Los Angeles Telemundo affiliate, has three new anchors. Enrique Chiabra and Yara Lasanta have been hired by the station as morning anchor and weekend weather anchor, respectively. Chiabra has spent the last two years at Univision’s Sacramento station KUVS-TV as a weekend anchor. Lasanta comes to LA from WKAQ-TV, the Telemundo affiliate in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where she served as a weekend weather anchor for two years. KVEA-TV also promoted Julio Vaqueiro to evening anchor; he has been a morning anchor at the station since 2013.
