Jill Stewart announced that she is stepping down from her role as managing editor of LA Weekly in early February. She will join the Neighborhood Integrity Initiative in Los Angeles as campaign director. Stewart joined LA Weekly in September 2006 as a news editor and was promoted to managing editor in 2011.
