Jake Reiner has left his position as a multimedia journalist and anchor for KION-TV to join KPRC-TV as a reporter on January 4, 2016. Reiner, son of actor/director Rob Reiner, was with KION-TV from June 2013 until 2015. He has also held positions as a news intern for WHAM-TV, a blogger for The Huffington Post, an anchor/reporter for CitrusTV, an intern for NBC Nightly News, an internet play-by-play broadcaster for the Los Angeles Dodgers, and a production assistant for Fox Sports West.
