Newspaper publisher CNHI (Community Newspaper Holdings, Inc.), has announced the opening of a new bureau in Washington, D.C. Veteran journalist Kery Murakami has been appointed chief of the new bureau, providing national content to CNHI’s 63 daily newspapers across 23 states. Murakami comes to CNHI from Bloomberg BNA, where he covered cybersecurity and banking. He has also worked for Newsday, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer and The Seattle Times.
