Cision Blog regrets to inform its readers that Anton Guitano, the former COO of CBS Local Media, has died at the age of 65. He spent 37 years with CBS, first working within the internal audit department. Guitano was then promoted to financial controller for CBS Television Network. He also became a vice president and general auditor for CBS Inc., an executive vice president of operations and CFO for CBS Television Stations and finally a CFO and senior executive vice president of operations for CBS Radio. He became COO of CBS Local Media in 2009, but retired in June this year after being diagnosed with cancer.
