Bess Lovejoy has joined mental_floss as online staff editor. Lovejoy has been a contributing editor at Smithsonian Magazine for the past year, and has been a freelance journalist since 2001 contributing to a number of publications including The New York Times, The Boston Globe and Seattle Met. While writing, Lovejoy has also held numerous book editing roles, including at Feral House from 2011 to 2013, and editing Schott’s Almanac from 2005 until 2010.
