Zachary Pincus-Roth has been named pop culture editor for The Washington Post effective Jan. 4. He is currently the deputy editor overseeing arts and culture for LA Weekly. Pincus-Roth joined the alt-weekly in this role in 2011 following stints with Variety, Playbill and a prolific freelance career writing for The New York Times, Los Angeles Times and others.
