The New York Times has announced several changes in coverage for reporters out of its Washington bureau. Matt Apuzzo is now an investigative reporter covering enterprise stories on national security and criminal justice. He most recently covered the Justice Department. Eric Lichtblau will pick up the Justice Department beat, which he previously covered from 2002 to 2009. Lichtblau most recently covered 2016 campaign finance. Additionally, Matthew Rosenberg is now covering the Pentagon and the Department of Defense full time after splitting coverage between the State Department and the DOD.
