Former Grantland writer Rembert Browne will join New York as a writer at large on November 16.

Browne has been at Grantland for the past four years, and his exit is part of the ongoing layoffs at ESPN. His new role at New York will be to cover culture, from entertainment to political and style, for all NY Mag verticals, including Vulture and the Cut.
