Annie Waldman has officially joined the staff of ProPublica to cover education. She has been a fellow for the online investigative news site since last year, covering a variety of topics. Waldman previously worked with BBC News and NY1 News, also contributing to a number of outlets, such as Mic, Vice, Newsweek and The Atlantic. She notably created the PBS documentary ‘So the Wind Won’t Blow It All Away’ in 2009, which chronicled the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina as it affected high school students.
