Cecilia Kang will join The New York Times in November as a technology regulation reporter, covering the intersection of tech, media and communications. Kang is currently senior technology correspondent at The Washington Post, a position she has held since 2008. She joined WaPo in 2006 covering local and business economics. Prior to her move to WaPo, she was a reporter for the San Jose Mercury News, covering race, demographics, and high tech industries during her 7 year tenure there.
