CBS Television Network’s Up to the Minute aired its final broadcast on Sept. 18. Targeted at an audience of very late and very early workers, the overnight show covered everything from breaking news, weather and business to sports and interviews. It also featured rebroadcasts of stories from earlier in the day that its overnight audience may have missed. Up to the Minute debuted in April 1992.
