The Chicago Reporter is suspending its quarterly print edition in favor of an all digital format. The stalwart investigative news organization, founded in 1972, serves as a watchdog for Chicago on issues including race, poverty and income equality. The last quarterly issue will be released this month, though there will be an annual issue released featuring notable investigations from the year. In the announcement, Chicago Reporter editor and publisher Susan Smith Richardson said, “The platform may have shifted from print to the Web, but the mission has stayed the same.” Check out The Chicago Reporter on Twitter and ‘Like’ on Facebook to follow its signature investigative journalism.
