Alison Fitzgerald will join NPR as a health policy correspondent, beginning in September. She most recently served as managing editor at The Center for Public Integrity since January 2015. Prior to that, Fitzgerald was a project manager for financial and business news for The Center for Public Integrity since April 2013. She served as an investigative/project reporter for Bloomberg News from September 2000 until November 2011. Before that, she was a reporter and editor at The AP from 1997 until 2000. She also previously served as a reporter at The Palm Beach Post and The Philadelphia Inquirer. For more news, art and music, follow NPR on Twitter.
