Dan Rather can still meet a deadline. He is now a wordsmith for Mashable, serving as a contributing writer. He will focus on politics and the 2016 presidential campaign. Rather has also stopped production of the cable network show Dan Rather Reports on AXS TV. He is now hosting an interview show series called The Big Interview on the same network. He hosts important entertainment and cultural figures in an hour-long interview format.
