Will Dana, editorial director of Men’s Journal and managing editor of Rolling Stone, will be leaving Wenner Media August 7th. Dana has been the editorial director of Men’s Journal since the summer of 2008 and managing editor of Rolling Stone since 2005. Before that, he was the deputy managing editor of Rolling Stone and has been on staff since 1996, mainly covering political and national affairs. Prior to that, he was a senior editor at Details.

Replacing Dana in both roles will be Jason Fine, who is currently an editor at large for Rolling Stone and the editor of Men’s Journal. Fine became an editor at large for Rolling Stone in November 2010, at the same time he became the editor of Men’s Journal. Filling Fine’s role as editor of Men’s Journal will be the outlet’s current deputy editor Mark HealyHealy was previously the special projects editorial director for GQ: Gentleman’s Quarterly. Prior to that, Healy worked for Details. Both Fine and Healy will start in their new positions August 10th.
