Sam Dolnick has been named associate editor for The New York Times, focusing on digital efforts at the paper. Dolnick “will serve as the bridge between the masthead, the new digital teams and our editors and reporters,” per memo from exec editor Dean Baquet. Dolnick most recently was a senior editor for mobile since September 2014.
