Doree Shafrir has announced that she will step down from her current role as Culture executive editor at Buzzfeed and into a full time writing position in Fall 2015.

Shafrir was named executive culture editor at BuzzFeed in January 2012. Before that she served as senior editor for rollingstone.com, as a reporter for the New York Observer, and associate editor at Gawker.

Additionally, Annie Daly has been named travel editor for Buzzfeed. Daly has been a freelance contriubutor for Yahoo Travel, and before that served as an associate editor for Cosmopolitan, and assistant editor and editorial assistant for Good Housekeeping.
