Bloomberg is gearing up for the 2016 presidential race and has created a team to cover campaign finance. Reporters Tim Higgins and Zachary Mider are joining the new team headed by Bloomberg vet Joshua Gallu. Gallu most recently covered SEC enforcement, while Higgins will relocate to Washington from San Francisco where he has covered Apple and technology, and Mider leaves behind the mergers & acquisitions beat in New York, where his reporting on tax evasion earned him the 2015 Pulitzer Prize for explanatory reporting.
