Greg Morabito was named editor of Eater NY, previously serving as Eater’s engagement editor. He replaces Marguerite Preston, who left her role as editor of Eater NY in May to pursue freelance writing. The Eater NY blog is geared towards food and restaurant-loving New Yorkers. The blog looks at new restaurants, trends in dining and food, restaurant openings and closings, and prominent chefs in New York City. It also covers the city’s bar and nightlife scene.
