Breaking news reporter Meghan Barr is leaving the Associated Press in New York to join Boston.com as senior editor and will serve as part of its new leadership team. Barr has been a reporter for the AP since August 2011, serving as Midwestern correspondent in Cleveland, a reporter and desk supervisor in Columbus, Ohio and joined the news service as an editorial assistant on the New York office’s national desk in August 2006.
