Chris Connelly has been named Grantland‘s interim editor in chief, following the departure of Bill Simmons. In addition to his new responsibilities, he will continue his work as a reporter at ESPN and contributing correspondent at ABC News 20/20.  Connelly has been with ESPN since 2001, and before that he was correspondent and editorial director at MTV news, and worked in various roles at Premiere and Rolling Stone magazines.
