Dan Burritt is the new host and producer for CBUT-TV’s CBC News Vancouver’s weekend evening newscasts. He replaces Renee Filippone, who left the CBC affiliate to become a senior business reporter for CBC News  in Toronto. Burritt was anchoring the weekend evenings while reporting for the station’s early evening newscasts. Prior to that, he worked at CKWX-AM.
