Tony Baker will step down as editor and publisher of The Register-Guard on June 1. He has served in this role since 1987, and joined the staff in 1979. N. Christian Anderson will take Baker’s place as editor and publisher of The Register-Guard, leaving his post as president and publisher of The Oregonian, where he’s served since October 2009.
