Cision Blog regrets to inform its readers that Steve Byrnes has passed away. Byrnes joined the FOX Sports family in 2001, reporting on NASCAR for multiple programs and serving as a pit road reporter during FOX’s broadcasts of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races from 2001 to 2004. Prior to joining FOX, he contributed to NASCAR programs for TNN, CBS, WTBS, and the History Channel.
