Edwin Chan is joining Bloomberg News‘ Hong Kong bureau as an Asia technology editor, effective in May 2015. He was most recently the West Coast tech and business news editor for Reuters in San Francisco. Prior to that role, he was Reuters’ bureau chief in Hong Kong and Shanghai. He first joined the news service in 1997 in Singapore.
