We’re back from an exciting evening at the first ever Viralheat Blogathon. The venue was packed to the brim with enthusiastic bloggers representing companies from throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. As the bloggers were hard at work, we enjoyed a great line-up of speakers who shared their insight on topics from corporate blogging and content marketing to social media success stories.
The quality of blog posts we received were beyond our expectations and the three judges representing VentureBeat, LinkedIn, and Google had a hard time choosing the very best. The judges cleverly came up with a category called “Best Off Topic Blog Posts” as well as the the top four blog post submissions overall. Our winner, Emma Tzeng is a Content Marketing Manager at Gigya whose post was titled “Will Pinterest and Google Beat Out Facebook as the Leading Social Provider?” Emma’s post will be featured on VentureBeat in the coming weeks.
Winner:
Emma Tzeng
Honorable Mention:
Julian Martinez
Evy Wilkins
David Spark
Best Off Topic Blog Post Submissions:
David Smooke
Alex Gaber
