Greg McCune has been named a desk editor for the Associated Press Midwest region, overseeing news coverage in the 14 Midwest states. He was previously the Midwest editor in charge for Reuters America Service from 2010 to 2013. Also at the AP, Anna Johnson has been named the deputy editor overseeing the U.S. West region. She will be based at the Phoenix bureau. She was previously an assistant regional editor for the news service overseeing the Central U.S. region in the Chicago bureau since June 2009.
