Two newsroom promotions have been announced by the Richmond Times-Dispatch. John Hoke has been named the paper’s enterprise editor, overseeing investigations and news features on state and regional issues, such as healthcare, higher education and the environment. Hoke joined the Times-Dispatch in 1982 and most recently served as metro editor. Taking his place in that role is Tom Kapsidelis, another Times-Dispatch veteran who joined the staff in 1988. He most recently served as breaking news editor. For news, sports, weather and features from Virginia’s top daily newspaper, follow the Richmond Times-Dispatch on Twitter and “Like” on Facebook.
