Ed Vogel, a longtime capitol bureau chief for the Las Vegas Review-Journal, announced his retirement from the paper after a 37 tenure in the Carson City, Nev. bureau. No replacement has been named for Vogel at this time. Additionally, Richard N. Velotta has joined the paper as a transportation columnist penning the “Road Warrior” column. Velotta was previously a business writer for the Las Vegas Sun since December 1991. The Las Vegas Review-Journal is a daily newspaper written for the residents of Las Vegas.
